DOJ watchdog reviewing errors in release of Epstein case files

The Justice Department’s internal watchdog is examining how the DOJ handled the release of Jeffrey Epstein–related records after the agency missed part of a 30‑day deadline, released roughly 3 million pages in January, and then withdrew several thousand due to missing redactions. Questions remain about additional documents that were never released.
