DFR rescues two men from rising creek waters
Dallas Fire‑Rescue says a passerby spotted two men trapped on a concrete slab in rising waters at Cottonwood Creek on Saturday, prompting crews to launch a water sled from the Forest Lane bridge to rescue the men and their bicycle before medics evaluated them and determined neither needed to be taken to the hospital.
