Decline of Irving ISD enrollment results in decline of budget

Across North Texas, multiple school districts are seeing a decline in enrollment. District officials for Irving ISD say in the last 10 years, enrollment has declined by around 5,000 students, which is resulting in a $25 million budget hit, as well as school officials rethinking opening doors for certain schools.
