Dallas police drone helps officers safely remove man from I‑45
Just days after Dallas police launched their Drone First Responder Program, the department is already reporting success. Video released by DPD shows a drone locating a man walking into oncoming traffic on I‑45 near Botham Jean Boulevard. The drone pilot guided officers to the man’s exact location, allowing them to safely remove him from the freeway without injuries.
