Dallas furloughs workers, closes some city services to address budget shortfall
Dallas closed City Hall, public libraries, and some park offices on Friday as part of three scheduled furlough days to address a $30 million budget shortfall. Police, fire, sanitation, and operations at Dallas Love Field continued as normal.
