Dallas and Fort Worth budget debates begin
Tuesday is the first time that the Dallas city manager and the city's financial team are discussing their budget proposal with the mayor and council members. The budget will take effect Oct. 1, and council members will now hold budget town hall meetings in their districts and then propose amendments. They'll vote on a final budget next month.
