Community steeped in controversy over North Texas church's 173-foot steeple plan
We received the following statement from the church after the story aired:
"We held a community meeting for neighbors on March 21st and plan to do another one on May 2nd from 6:30-8:00 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 651 E. Stacy Rd., Fairview.
This meeting on May 2nd was also announced at the recent planning and zoning meeting for the Town of Fairview last week on April 11th. We are eager to have people come and learn more about this project from those who know the answers."
