Buc‑ee’s opens first Arizona store to massive fan turnout
A taste of Texas is now in the desert. Arizona’s first Buc‑ee’s location opened yesterday, about 15 miles west of downtown Phoenix, and fans of the massive travel centers lined up to be the first in the door. Even though doors opened at 6 a.m., some fans arrived much earlier — we’re talking days earlier — with the first customer claiming their spot at about 4 p.m. Saturday. Another Buc‑ee’s fan even showed up with a beaver.
