Billy Chemirmir killed in prison
Billy Chemirmir, the suspected serial killer convicted of two murders of elderly women in Dallas County, was killed in his prison cell Thursday morning. The Texas Department of Criminal Justice said his cellmate was the assailant. Chemirmir was serving life in prison, as prosecutors declined to seek the death penalty.
