Arlington wins restraining order against Pecos over costly tax exemptions
The small West Texas town of Pecos set up a nonprofit that approved major tax exemptions for North Texas developers, costing local governments millions of dollars. In response, a Tarrant County judge granted Arlington a temporary restraining order against Pecos, preventing further tax breaks.
