Alma Fire burns 250 acres in Ellis County as nearby residents evacuate
The Alma Fire has burned an estimated 250 acres in Ellis County and was 0% contained Friday evening. Residents from Smolak Road to Bruce Road to FM 85 were urged to evacuate immediately, with the Cowboy Church of Ennis serving as an evacuation site.
