The victim has been identified as Bryon McClelland, 31.
"She's passionate, spunky, brilliant," said Sally Atiyeh as she described her daughter, Atiyeh Chatmon. "She has always been mommy's mini twin and daddy's little girl."
The suspect, 26-year-old Rene Junior Trinidad, remained on scene after the shooting and cooperated with the investigation.
