On December 9 fallen Officer Richard Houston, with the Mesquite Police Department, will be laid to rest.
An affidavit says an argument over infidelity between the man accused of killing Officer Richard Lee Houston II -- Jaime Jaramillo -- and his wife, Juventina Vazques Bences, led to the fatal shooting.
Juventina Vazques Bences, 43, was arrested in relation to the initial disturbance outside the Albertsons on South Belt Line Road and not the officer-involved shooting.
