Three utility workers were fatally struck by a pickup truck as they were repairing power lines damaged by Hurricane Michael, the Florida Highway Patrol says.
The death toll from Hurricane Michael has climbed to at least six people, as victims were recovered in the Florida Panhandle, Georgia and North Carolina on Thursday.
Hurricane Michael grew so quickly it caught many Floridians off-guard. Its wind speed increased by 72 percent in less than 33 hours.
