Welcome To November

Clocks went back one hour last night, calendars flip forward one month this morning. Welcome to a new month and a new time frame (November and standard time respectively). We haven't had a low in the 40's at DFW since last Spring. Just a week into November and it's the new normal (average):

New month but same story: rain. Light to moderate rain in the forecast for your Sunday. An upper-level low over the Hill Country will move east. It will wrap rain into the Metroplex, most of it will fall from late morning into late afternoon. A few thunderstorms are possible as well:

Sunshine for your Monday as the work week starts with fine Fall weather. Then another big rain in the forecast, this one arrives on Thursday/Thursday night:

Difficult to remember the summer drought. It started on the first day of July and lasted deep into October. Then the flood gates opened. The first three weeks of October DFW had the 3rd driest October on record going on. Then in the last nine days of the month a deluge of rain fell. We ended up as the 2nd wettest October on record:
