Video: Spain Train Derailment May Be Result Of High Speed

SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA, SPAIN (CBSNEWS) -- Relatives of victims from a train crash in northwestern Spain sobbed and hugged each other Thursday near a makeshift morgue in a sports arena for the victims as the death toll rose to 78 and investigators tried to determine the cause.

A State Department official confirmed to CBS News Thursday morning that five Americans were injured in the crash. The department has not received any reports of U.S. citizen deaths, according to the official. One American survivor has sent a message from a hospital saying he's OK, CBS News correspondent Mark Phillips reported on "CBS This Morning" Thursday.
