DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Law enforcement officers across the state are rolling out a new campaign Tuesday that cracks down on drunk driving, and they are teaming up with the Texas Department of Transportation for the sobering message.

The campaign is simple: 'Drink, Drive, Go To Jail.'

Drivers will begin seeing the campaign message on Tuesday and throughout the rest of the summer, through the Labor Day weekend. Officers from all across the state will have increased drunk driving enforcement for 18 days, from August 21 to September 7.

Just last year, NASCAR driver Kyle Larson helped TxDOT get out a similar message. And still, across Texas, 336 people were killed in alcohol-related crashes, while another 680 people were badly hurt.

TxDOT is kicking off this year's campaign just as several summer celebrations are set to happen, hoping that they can send a clear message to everyone about being safe.
