Tulsa Man Arrested For Texas Child Sex Abuse

MESQUITE (CBSDFW.COM) - Law enforcement officials in Oklahoma on Wednesday afternoon arrested a suspect for the alleged sexual abuse of a juvenile in Mesquite.
According to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, the victim recently went to police in Mesquite and reported the sex abuse, and the manufacturing of child pornography. The victim identified the suspect as David Earl Myers III, and authorities located him in Tulsa.
Federal, state and local officials in Tulsa tracked down Myers and arrested him at his workplace on Wednesday afternoon. He is now behind bars in Tulsa County, but will soon be extradited to Texas.
Investigators also searched the suspect's home and found several pieces of evidence against Myers, including the implements of abuse which had been described by the young victim.
