PLANE PASSENGER'S NOTE GOES VIRAL

A passenger left a note for a West Jet pilot that has gone viral online.

The note was written on a napkin for the female captain of his flight.

It starts, "The cockpit of an airliner is no place for a woman.  A woman being a mother is the most honor."

The passenger goes on to say "P.S. I wish West Jet would tell me a fair lady is at the helm so I can book another flight!"

The pilot -- Carey Smith Steacy, who has 17 years experience, posted the note on Facebook and penned the following response:

"To @David in 12E on my flight #463 from Calgary to Victoria today. It was my pleasure flying you safely to your destination. Thank you for the note you discreetly left me on your seat. You made sure to ask the flight attendants before we left if I had enough hours to be the Captain so safety is important to you, too. I have heard many comments from people throughout my 17 year career as a pilot. Most of them positive. Your note is, without a doubt, the funniest. It was a joke, right? RIGHT?? I thought, not. You were more than welcome to deplane when you heard I was a "fair lady." You have that right. Funny, we all, us humans, have the same rights in this great free country of ours. Now, back to my most important role, being a mother."

WEDDING EXPLANATION

A father's attempt to explain his job to his young son, is going viral.

Cole Thornton didn't understand what his dad did as a wedding photographer -- because the three-year-old didn't know what a wedding was.

So, his dad Chris pulled a couple props from Cole's toy box to explain.

He dressed up Mr. And Mrs. Potato head for the occasion,  made an invitation for the potato heads vow renewing ceremony.

He shot pictures of the toy guests throwing confetti. There was a reception with a baked potato dinner, and by the end of it – three-year-old Cole knew all about what happens at a wedding.
