Thousands Attend '13 Hours' Premiere At AT&T Stadium

ARLINGTON (AP/CBSDFW) - Thousands of people turned out at AT&T Stadium in Texas for the premiere of "13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi" and a salute to veterans.
Organizers provided about 30,000 free tickets for Tuesday night's showing in Arlington, the largest ever world premiere for a feature film, on a massive high-definition screen at the home of the Dallas Cowboys.
The experience didn't go well for many, however, as people in the upper level couldn't hear the movie. According to one person that attended the screening, "two thirds of the crowd left cause you couldn't hear the movie. It was the worst movie experience I've ever been to in my life."
Others that attended the premiere speculated that the organizers of the event weren't expecting that big of a crowd because the sound system wasn't directed towards the upper level.
Michael Bay's action movie stars John Krasinski and James Badge Dale. It tells the story of the 2012 attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya, and the heroic actions of veterans serving as private security personnel.
Four Americans were killed in the attack, including U.S. Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens.
Donations from the premiere will benefit the Shadow Warriors Project Fund.
"13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi" opens Friday.
