FORT WORTH (KRLD) - The radio is playing Christmas music and the weather will finally feel cool this weekend, so the holiday season is here along with parades, lights and Jolly 'Ole St. Nick!
Sunday's 34th annual XTO Energy Parade of Lights tops off a full weekend of holiday fun.
"Saturday night we light the Sundance Square Christmas Tree and then on Sunday night we have the XTO Energy Parade of Lights so it's really a weekend holiday kick off" said Parade Director Jay Downie.
There will over one hundred and twenty parade entries including several equestrian groups The Horsing Around in Texas Riding Club will be hard to miss.
"We have long red velvet cloaks, white cowboy hats that light up and the horses are all decked out in all kinds of Christmas lights" said Organizer for Horsing Around in Texas Riding Club Mendy Allison.
The parade kicks of at 6 pm at Belknap and Throckmorton in Downtown Fort Worth. Reserve seats are available near the parade stands, or you can line the streets for free, but come early.
