Starving Dog Found, Recovering In Dallas

DALLAS (CBS11) - A starving, homeless dog is getting the car she needs thank to the staff at Dallas Animal Services.

Someone saw the pup on Skillman in Dallas.

She was in bad shape with a leg injury and she was very hungry and thirsty.

But now that she's in the shelter's care she started eating.

"She's been offered small amounts of food and she is eating that," says Dr. Catherine McManus, Operations Manager at DAS.  "I have a feeling she will pull through."

The staff gave her a name to fit the season, "Noel."
