Scattered Thunderstorms the Next Couple of Days
We are seeing scattered thunderstorms this afternoon that are forming in the heat of the afternoon. We have some very humid air in place that is fueling these storms. They will tend to rain themselves out with the slower movement they posess. A more concentrated area of storms west of the DFW area will approach during the early evening. Storms should begin to quiet down after sunset.
Here's a look at the hi-res RPM computer model.
THIS EVENING
WEDNESDAY MORNING - quiet
WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON - more scattered t'storms
THURSDAY AFTERNOON - another round of scattered storms
Rain chances will start decreasing slowly as we head into the weekend. The air mass will be drying a bit. But isolated storms are possible even into Saturday and maybe even Sunday.
