Rangers Fan Wins Season Tickets By Hitting One Out Of Park!

FORT WORTH (CBS11) – The Texas Rangers recently invited fans to contest called, "Swing For Your Seats."
The rules were simple: Hit a home run and win season tickets to watch the Rangers.
Twenty people attempted the feat and one man actually came out a winner!
Byron Anderson is a life-long Rangers fan and teacher at Fossil Hill Middle School in Fort Worth.
"I just caught it right and you know when you hit the ball you get that feeling," said Anderson who hit the home run on his 5th try.
Anderson said it was a dream come true to hit a ball out of the park and trot around the bases of his favorite team's field, but according to him the real gift was being able to do it all in front of his family.
"That made all the difference. Anytime you have your family there to see your accomplishments and be able to share that with them. I shared that moment with my son, wife and daughter," said Anderson.
