Rain...Then Powerful Storms
Cloudy skies to start our Sunday will become mostly cloudy across the day. Rain chances will return by mid-day and pick-up we get into the evening. Highs look to stay on the cool side, in the low 60's:
Tomorrow we'll have a couple of rounds of showers/isolated storms, most of this will occur in the afternoon hours. The rain coverage will pick up Monday night. A powerful west coast storm is going to produce a squall line on Monday night. That squall line will likely slam into the Metroplex overnight/early Tuesday morning:
The risk of severe weather is high heading into the Tuesday morning. Damaging winds are most likely but isolated tornadoes are also possible. We will be keeping you posted on this severe threat as we draw closer to it. In the wake of the storm line we expect very gusty west winds during the day on Tuesday.
