Rain Chances Return
We don't get many days with measureable rain in August at DFW but at least those chances increase as the month wears on:
A very strong low pressure system well to our north is producing severe weather across the Northern Plains. It will push a cold front into north Texas that looks to stall out over us and linger for a few days. This will bring slightly cooler weather and some storm chances:
Sunday is another hot muggy day just like Saturday. Clouds build in during the afternoon and storm chances along the front will form in the afternoon. Almost all of this activity looks to be north of the Metroplex along the Red River Valley:
Back to school for many on Monday. There is a slight chance for some light morning rain but the best chances for rain over the next three days for the metro area looks to be on Monday afternoon. Highs will be in the low 90's thanks to the clouds:
