Police Investigate Father Of Murdered Six-Year-Old
SAGINAW (CBSDFW.COM) - The father of a murdered six-year-old Saginaw girl said he is doing his best to help with the investigation.
Miles McDaniel, the biological father of Alanna Gallagher, spoke briefly to CBS 11 News outside the Saginaw Police Department Tuesday evening. He said he had just spent more than eight hours talking with investigators.
McDaniel said no one in his family had anything to do with the death of his daughter.
"I know there is always that suspicion," he said "I know the odds are high that it is a family member in this sort of situation. I can say anyone that knows our family would know better."
The Saginaw Police Department has stated on multiple occasions Gallagher's parents, her two father and mother, are not suspects.
