Penguins-Capitals Winter Classic to Get HBO 'Hard Knocks' Treatment
HBO is prepping a "Hard Knocks"-style show leading up to the New Years Day Winter Classic between the Penguins and the Capitals.
The open-air game at Heinz Field — and presumably the mini-series — will star the two biggest names in hockey: Alex Ovechkin and Sidney Crosby. The two captains, and their teammates and coaches, will be mic'd up in the days leading up to, as well as during, the big game.
