Packers Open As 6.5-Point Favorite Over Cowboys

ARLINGTON (CBSDFW.COM) -- The Dallas Cowboys took a step closer to their first Super Bowl since 1995 on Sunday, defeating the Detroit Lions 24-20. Up next: a trip to Green Bay.
Dallas will travel to Green Bay for the Divisional Round on Sunday. The Packers have opened as a 6.5-point favorite over the Cowboys.
The game will be played at Lambeau Field, where temperatures are forecasted to peak at 23 degrees on Sunday -- with a low of 1 degree.
The two teams have met in the playoffs only once in Green Bay -- the 1967 NFL Championship game dubbed the "Ice Bowl".
Green Bay is 8-0 at home this season. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers has completed over 67 percent of his passes for 25 touchdowns and zero interceptions.
The good news? Dallas has yet to lose on the road, matching Green Bay's 8-0 record.
The winner will likely travel to Seattle for the NFC Championship, barring an upset win by Carolina. Should the Panthers win, the Cowboys or Packers would host the NFC title game.
Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett was asked what the biggest challenge is in facing the Packers.
"I haven't really watched them yet," said Garrett. "Obviously they're a great football team. We know all the principle figures...They do a fantastic job and they have for a long time."
