Outlaw Items Up For Auction By Dallas Company
DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM/AP) — Fans of cowboy bad guys have a chance to buy some outlaw items offered by a Dallas auction house.
Officials with Heritage Auctions say Saturday's Legends of the Wild West Auction features a gun belt belonging to outlaw Jesse James. The auction will include more than 140 artifacts from the collection of the late Wilbur Zink of Springfield, Mo.
Heritage official Tom Slater says it's rare to come across authentic outlaw material.
The auction also includes a rare cabinet-sized photo of James that's estimated to bring a minimum $2,500 bid.
The auction begins June 22 at 1 p.m. and runs through June 23.
