Out With the Old at Dallas Love Field

The building contractor responsible for completely overhauling the aging interior and exerior of Dallas Love Field offered an update on their project Thursday.  The more than 500 million dollar project is now underway after some delays over the past couple years.  Southwest Airlines is putting up a lot of the cash, but bond money is also being used.  The entire project will completed in phases.  The entire 20 gate modernization should be done by the Fall of 2014.  The airport hasn't had much in the way of a major overhaul since the late 1950's.
