North Richland Hills Police Officers Struck By Suspected Drunk Driver
NORTH RICHLAND HILLS (CBSDFW.COM) - Two police officers were hospitalized after the vehicle was hit by suspected intoxicated driver Sunday morning.
A statement released by the North Richland Hills Police Department said the officers were on detail at highway construction project 3:30 a.m. when their police cruisers were hit.
The officers were taken to the hospital and released with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the vehicle which hit the officers has been arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated. Police are investigating the crash.
