New Push To Give Texas Vets Legal Help
There's a new push to give Texas veterans legal help when they can't afford it. The president of the State Bar of Texas is recruiting lawyers to provide free help for veterans in a program called Texas Lawyers for Texas Veterans. Terry Tottenham says there is an enormous need by many veterans. The Tarrant County Bar Association has a legal clinic next month inviting needy veterans to get legal help. Issues range from domestic issues, like divorce and child custody to dealing with drug and alcohol dependencies.
