Need Flextime Workers? Moms To The Rescue!

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - A North Texas company says there's an untapped pool of top notch job candidates who need flexible work schedules, working moms.

Cindy Yared knows all about that.  "I have two kids, 13 and 10. I had juggled working full-time with them," Yared said.

That's why she and Amy Steurer run MomCorpsDallas, a professional job placement agency with moms in mind.

"We really think we speak to the moms that call us and we speak to the professionals that call us. We've lived both of those lives," Steurer said.

Michele Rougon took account of her time and thought she needed more for her kids.

"At times, I need to be able to go to my son's band concerts and our daughter has theater," Rougon said.

MomCorpsDallas found a fit with a promotion to Vice President of Accounting for Rougon at Cambridge Healthcare Properties.

Lauren Mowery, their Director of Operations and Culture said, "We understand that people do have lives outside of work."

MomCorpsDallas says more companies are offering full-time flexible, part-time or even contract jobs.

"It's a way to have better work-life balance, that's what we're all aspiring to is better able to juggle life," Yared said.

But MomCorpsDallas isn't just for Moms.  10 percent of their clients are men.

"If we can improve lives for North Dallas that's just the epitomy of success for me," Steurer said.
