Man Killed Trying To Cross Highway 183 In Irving

IRVING (CBSDFW) - A man was killed after trying to cross highway 183 in Irving late Monday.
Police say the pedestrian was attempting to cross Airport Freeway near MacArthur Boulevard in the westbound lanes just after 11 p.m.
According to authorities, the victim was struck multiple times by several vehicles.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The freeway was closed for several hours as police investigated the incident.
