DFW AIRPORT (CBSDFW.COM) - A man died after his vehicle collided with a DFW International Airport employee shuttle bus at 4:30 a.m. Wednesday. The crash happened on the flyover bridge from southbound International Parkway to Terminal E at the airport, a spokesman said.

An air ambulance took the man to Parkland Hospital, where he died from the injuries he sustained in the crash. His identity has not been released.

Traffic was snarled at the ramp for more than three hours after the wreck, forcing officials to re-route traffic to Terminal E. DFW spokesman David Magaña said passengers are "arriving normally despite the detour."

The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the accident.
