New Police Badge Highlights Super Bowl
Some Arlington police officers will soon be wearing new commemorative badges that feature an emblem of the Cowboys Stadium and the words "North Texas XLV," a tribute to the coming Super Bowl. The badge also carries the names of all 7 Arlington police officers killed in the line of duty.
The badges will begin to appear on uniforms next month. Some officers are also buying the badges to display them in a shadowbox.
