I hope that each and everyone of you are able to take some time off during this holiday season, but I do want to let you know about some Christmas programming on CBS11 and TXA21 this week that you don't want to miss.

Christmas Eve night after CBS11 News At 10pm, CBS will air its annual Christmas Eve service at 10:35pm. This hour-long special features an interfaith Christmas Eve service from St. Gregory's of Nyssa Episcopal Church in San Francisco, Calif. At 11:35pm, Happy Holidays America returns with a look at how we celebrate the season around our country in various regions. The regular CBS Late Night lineup of Stephen Colbert and James Corden will not be seen and will return on Friday, 12/25.

On Christmas Day at 5am and then again at 4pm, CBS11 will air its annual Christmas Choir special featuring the best local choirs in the DFW area.

And on Christmas Night, be sure not to miss The Andy Griffith Christmas Special from 7-8pm. The special features the heartwarming "The Christmas Story" and "The Pickle Story," two episodes considered favorites by fans and the general public alike. Each is newly colorized to match as closely as possible to later episodes of the series that were actually filmed and broadcast in color. The main titles and end credits of the two episodes are seamlessly combined into one set at the beginning and end of the hour, with no interruption between the episodes.

On TXA21, Christmas Eve at 8:30pm, we will air an encore of the Landry Awards Presentation show. Then at 9pm until 3pm Christmas Day 3pm, TXA21 and 98.7 K-LUV (KLUV-FM) will once again team up to present the annual Yule Log. Just turn on the TV at home and let 'er roll for the best Christmas music ever!

I wish each and everyone of you a happy and safe holiday season. See you next time.
