Keller's Not Done Fighting

Court of Criminal Appeals Chief Justice Sharon Keller may have had one appeal denied by the Texas Supreme Court but that's not stopping the fight.  Keller was issued a public warning by the Judicial Conduct Commission after closing the court to a last minute appeal in the Michael Richard case.  He was executed about an hour after the court closed and the appeal stopped at the locked door.  Keller's Attorney Chip Babcock is now requesting a three judge Texas Supreme Court panel look over the case.  "I think we'll hear shortly, within the next 10 or 15 days."  Babcock expects the panel will hear the case but isn't sure if there will be another full blown trial with witnesses or just arguments by attorneys.
