Johnson County Emergency Preparedness Fair

Want to win a Storm Shelter?  Attend the Johnson County Emergency Preparedness Fair this Saturday from 10am to 2pm to enter to win.

ArmourGuard Storm Shelters has donated a safe room and the installation of that safe room to be given away in a drawing at the event. (must be a Johnson County Resident and home owner to win the shelter)

The event will be held a the Cleburne Conference Center in the west parking lot.  See map below.

CBS 11 Chief Meteorologist Larry Mowry will be there with Mobile 11.

The Johnson County Emergency Preparedness Fair has gathered a large number of partners to offer free information and training on topics that include storm shelter rebates and installation, gas pipeline safety, electrical safety, how to build an effective 72-hour kit, dealing with animals in a disaster, and much more.

There will be drawings for other emergency preparedness items such as generators, Mountain House freeze dried food, $50 Walmart gift cards, NOAA weather radios, tools, and many other prizes. (you do not have to be present to win but do need to attend the fair to register).

Kids events include the Burleson Fire Safety Training Trailer and Lowes Home Improvement child building project seminars.

Atmos Energy will be giving away grilled hotdogs while they last.
