DALLAS (105.3 THE FAN) - Jerry Jones just called in to Newy's show to once again clarify his position on the power structure at Valley Ranch regarding who calls the shots after he stepped in to answer the question during yesterday's presser.

His comment to Newy's question about why he stepped in to answer the question. "Because the questions were asked about where his authority stopped and started, it was much more appropriate for me to answer that question because it was all about where I wanted it to be.  I just wanted to make it real clear that Jason was in position to get coaches and coordinators that he wanted.
I wanted to be real clear as far as how we operate.  I'm not putting a player on this roster that Jason doesn't want on the roster.  That's it.  There really has been a misperception about that."

It is obvious that Jerry is sensitive to the issue and he even said yesterday that he "feels he is open to change" as the coaching carousel spins again.
