Isolated Storms This Evening in DFW, 100s on the Way
Isolated showers and thunderstorms will be possible across North Texas for the rest of this afternoon into the evening.
A stationary front is parked across North Texas. There is also an upper level disturbance dropping across Oklahoma. As this disturbance gets closer more isolated storms will be possible.

Rain coverage may not be terribly high, but at least a few areas will see some rain.
TONIGHT/TOMORROW
Lingering showers could persist into the night for area northeast of Dallas.

We will likely reach our first 100 degree day this year this weekend.
An upper level high which is right now centered out west...
... will build over Texas this weekend into early next week. (see image below)
But by late next week the high retreats back to the west and rain chances return to the forecast Wednesday thru Friday of next week.
