Greg Hardy In ESPN Interview: "I've Never Put My Hands On Any Woman"

DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - Dallas Cowboys free agent defensive end, Greg Hardy, has professed his innocence over an incident involving his ex-girlfriend in an interview with ESPN.
In a portion of the interview released today, Greg Hardy said, "I've never put my hand on any women." Hardy seemed to parse words when speaking to ESPN. "Saying I did nothing wrong is a stretch but saying I'm innocent is correct, sir."
Hardy was suspended for 10 games for multiple violations of the personal conduct policy in connection with the incident with his ex, Nicole Holder, in 2014. The suspension was later reduced to four games after Hardy appealed.
Hardy was accused of assaulting Holder after they got in an argument.
He originally was put on the NFL's exempt/commissioners permission list in September of 2014 by his then current team, the Carolina Panthers.
The domestic violence charges against Hardy were dropped in February of 2015. The Dallas Cowboys signed Hardy to a one-year deal a month later.
Hardy played in all 12 games after he completed his four-game suspension, compiling six sacks.
He remains unsigned on the free agent market, and 105.3 The Fan's Mike Fisher says don't expect him to be back in Dallas.
