Fort Worth Man Killed After Industrial Equipment Explodes

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - A 56-year-old man died at the hospital after industrial equipment he was working near exploded.

It happened at 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning at a work site on Shamrock Avenue.

Fort Worth bomb and arson investigators have preliminarily ruled the explosion accidental, according to Mike Drivdahl, a fire department spokesman.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner said the man died from blunt force injuries.
