FBI Makes Arrest In Sting To Blow Up New York Fed Bank
NEW YORK (CBSDFW.COM) - CBS New York is reporting the FBI has arrested a man in connection with trying to blow up the Federal Reserve Bank in Manhattan.
The man was arrested following sting-type operation with undercover agents, says WCBS-TV.
The sting is similar to the arrest of 19-year-old Jordanian Hosam Smadi the Dallas branch of the FBI carried out in September of 2009.
Smadi thought he was conspiring to blow up the Fountain Place tower, Dallas' iconic triangle-shaped skyscraper designed by I.M. Pei.
