Ebola-Infected Nurse Upgraded To Good Condition

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - Friends and family of Ebola-infected nurse Nina Pham gave sighs of relief when they found out she was upgraded to good condition Tuesday night. They had gathered on the Texas Christian University campus for a vigil in her honor.
Stephanie Wright and Erin Taylor were sorority sisters with Pham in 2010. Four years later, their bond brought nearly 50 people to the chapel on campus to pray for her healing.
"We love you and we're praying for you and your dog because we understand how important dogs are," said Wright.
Both Taylor and Wright were joined by dozens of others wearing purple, lighting candles and saying prayers.
"TCU loves its horned frogs and we love her," one student told CBS 11 News.

Friendships forged between the nurse stricken with the potentially fatal virus transcended graduation dates. "When something like this happens, it brings all the memories back."
Wright and Taylor said they hope Nina feels their prayers; finding solace in their words. Both women describe their friend as quiet, selfless and brave. Despite not speaking to Pham since her diagnosis, her friends said they can imagine how she's coping.
"The spirit about her says she's getting along and I know she is confident in the hospital as well," said Taylor.
