HOOD COUNTY (CBSDFW.COM) - A man on a motorcycle lost his life after being hit by a pickup truck.

The driver of that pickup was allegedly drunk and talking on her phone while driving according to DPS Trooper Dub Gillum.

The crash happened on FM 4 at Loop 567 around 1:30 p.m. Sunday.

LaDonna Welch, 36, of Granbury is in the Hood County Jail charged with intoxication manslaughter.
