Dog attacks child, Fort Worth police investigating
FORT WORTH – A child was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries Saturday after being attacked by a dog.
Fort Worth police say the dog belonged to someone visiting the child's family.
The attack occurred in the 9000 block of Carroll Cabin Way, east of Chisholm Trail Parkway.
Police responded to the attack just after 2:30 p.m., a news release said.
According to Fort Worth police, someone shot and killed the dog before officers arrived.
