Dana White: Rousey 'Smokes' Jesse Holley -- And Fast

DALLAS (105.3 THE FAN) -- Former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Jesse Holley made a bold statement earlier this month on 105.3 The Fan.

"I just know that if me and Ronda Rousey were in the ring, she would not stand a chance."

Holley, who stands 6-foot-2 and 215 pounds, says he'd need just 8 weeks of training to prepare.

A big name -- perhaps the biggest name in the mixed martial arts world, UFC President Dana White --  joined 105.3 The Fan's Shan & RJ and expressed a slightly different opinion.

"Give him 8 months to train. She smokes him and smokes him fast," said White. "When she grabs onto you, she is going to slam you so hard. People who know how to defend what she's going to do can't defend it. You have no idea how to defend it. She's going to rip your arm off and beat you with it."

White pointed to Rousey's medal in Judo at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

But Holley shouldn't feel completely singled out by White's comments.

"Do you realize how fast she'd beat Floyd Mayweather. The fight would last as long as Floyd could stay away from her. Once she put her hands on him, the fight would be over -- and it would be ugly."
