3-Year-Old At Center Of Dallas Amber Alert, Chasity Collins, Has Been Found Safe

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) — It was just before 11:00 a.m. Wednesday when Dallas police sent a notification that 'critical missing Chasity Collins has been located and is safe.'

It was around 12:30 a.m. when a white, 4-door Lincoln MKZ was stolen from outside a 7-Eleven in the 2400 block of West Ledbetter Drive, not far from Executive Airport -- Chasity was inside.

Chasity, a Black toddler standing about 3'0" tall, with black hair and brown eyes, had no shoes on and was only dressed in a short-sleeved shirt and tights when she was taken.

Police put out specific information, including a tag number, about the stolen Lincoln. They say the vehicle was found in Oak Cliff, just a few miles from where it was taken, with little Chasity still inside.

Police have not given an update on the status of the search for the suspect/suspects or any description of who they may be looking for.
